This time tomorrow...

....I'll have had my second trimester sonogram.  In roughly 24 hours, Scott and I will know if we're having the third in my little man clan or flipping the dynamic and adding some drama with a little girl. 

You probably won't know though {sorry}.  We'll be telling the boys before anyone else.  Then our families.  Then a couple of close friends who I've promised to tell asap.  Then we'll branch out from there.  So the timeline of sharing is variable.  Don't be offended.  Or be offended, if you want, but know I don't care as I have my OWN plan {you know, since it's MY family and MY pregnancy and MY body that will be birthing this kid} for what I'm doing and yours is of little importance to me, lol.   

Anyway, yesterday was Carter's first swim lesson!  Before class starts, they have a play area with toys for the kids to entertain themselves before the teacher comes in to talk about the pool rules.  Then they head down to the pool area. 

Other than telling the teacher during pool rules that he could swim by himself {lol, which he absolute can't, obviously} he did SO WELL!  He was so animated and excited before class started he practically drug me across the floor to get to the pool when it was time. 

There are 4 other little boys in his class, but, of course, Carter was the best.  :)  He loves the water and he didn't hesitate at all kicking, using his arms, and putting his face in the water.  He went under the water to get a ring, the yelled across the indoor pool, "Mommy!!  I put my eyes underwater to get the ring!!!!".  He was so proud of himself.  He floated {sorta} and swam and jumped.  He absolutely loved it.  Silly kid.  I was super proud of him.  Another boy's parents asked me how old he was {and yes, there was an impressed tone in their voice}.  I will have pictures next time {tomorrow}. 

I'm SO glad I signed him up.  And for $99!  Such a deal!
