Carter's birthday party was Sunday. It was, by far, the most stressless party I've thrown for one of the boys. We had it at Bounce U in Plano, which I highly recommend!! 2 room of bounces houses and then another room for cake/ice cream or whatever. And they.do.EVERYthing. We had a "party pro" who basically ran the party for me. She played with the kids, made sure they knew the rules, she escorted us from room to room, she set up the cake and such while they kids were playing, she served the cake, ice cream, pizza, etc., she even lead the singing of Happy Birthday. Heck! They even put the presents in a cart and rolled them out to the car for us. Awesome. I just watched, chatted, took pictures and videos and actually enjoyed myself. Who knew that was possible?!
Anyway, it was a small party. We did invite a huge amount of people. Just some of our closer friends and some of Carter's classmates. Even so, we had a great turnout. Some people didn't show last minute, as to be expected with kids. But I think it was the perfect amount of kids to have a good time without being on top of one another.
Carter had a BLAST!!! It was so fun. We will be revisiting that facility again for SURE!!
