Happy Halloween!

Halloween was super fun.  I dressed as a zombie, as you can probably see in my previous post.  But this will be mostly pics of the kiddos.

After a day of being photographed more than I ever have in my LIFE, I think {seriously, people at stoplights, a random lady in her car, the cashier at Target, etc... I got my picture taken ALL DAY LONG, lol.  Everyone gushed about my costume.  Strangers and people I know alike.  It was a little weird, but funny.}, we went to the Binnings for trick-or-treat fun.  This is pretty much tradition at this point.  We meet up at their house and head out as a big group to trick or treat with the kids.  It's really fun.  Adults usually bring roadies {beer or wine} and the kids have a great time trick-or-treating with their buddies.

Trenton was Squirtle the pokemon.  Which isn't something that's sold in store.  So I have to MAKE this...

What?  That's 2 years in a row I've had to make his pokemon costume.  ::sigh::  I'm not the seamstress type.  It's not a talent or skill I posses, but it's what he wanted, so I did my best.

Carter was Rocket from Little Einsteins.  That was easy.  Some internet searching and $60 and we were in business 6 weeks ago.

The boys were excited.  Especially Trenton, whom we weren't sure was even going to get to go {he'd been having some issues with turning in his homework and/or bringing his assignments home}.  But he had a great day Wednesday, so we let him trick-or-treat.

Scott came separately with Carter after work with his surprise costume.

LOL!  So funny!
We posed for some pictures and everyone chatted and ate pizza.

Then we headed out for trick-or-treating!

After several blocks, we headed back to the Binnings to check out candy and goodies!

I really enjoyed my costume, so I'm going to post some closeups of my latex handiwork.
