Lake Living on the 4th of July

Some good friends of ours have a house on the lake.  Well, their parents do.  And somehow, we keep scoring invites to spend time with them there. 

Y'all... it is so incredible.  Seriously gorgeous house that backs right up to the lake and their own (awesome) boat house and new boat! 

I don't know why they invite us, or why they 'rents keep tolerating us, but we'll keep going as long as they can pretend we're welcome.  :)

We went Wednesday evening and came home Friday, late morning.  We had SO much fun.  I love g'mama and dida (our friends 'rents.  That's what their girls call them and it's contagious).  They are the sweetest people EVER.  We stuffed ourselves, rode the boat, went tubing (even Carter!), set off fireworks (Dave and I set off the big guns... with a surprising finale, lol), went fishing, drank some beer, swam in the lake multiple times, had tea parties, grilled, etc.  It was amazing. 

Carter, a little begrudgingly, rode in a tube for the first time!  He's never wanted to do it before, but he did it!  I had to go with him and I'd already changed out of my swimsuit, but whatever!  Anything goes at the lake!

Tanner loved the boat.  His life jacket was huge on him, but that just meant he was able to chew/suck on the side of it and he went to sleep almost immediately, lol.  Silly kid!

Trenton is still with his dad, but the younger 2, the hubs and myself all had a fabulous time.
