Carter will be 5 on Thursday. 5 years old. I cannot believe that! I feel like it was just the other day that I was getting out of the tub and my water broke. That little man has changed SO MUCH. Trenton was born a sweetheart and remains that way still. Carter started out MUCH differently than he is now.
For starters, as an infant, he hated Popaw. Seriously. He cried every time Popaw held him. That didn't last too long, though, as he soon decided he LOVED Popaw and hated everyone else except Mommy, Trenton and sometimes Daddy. Poor Nana. He used to cry when my bunco group would come over. He wouldn't talk to ANYONE. He did a lot of scowling.
Now, however, that child has done a 180. He loves to talk to people, even if it's just asking random people in the store semi-embarrassing questions. He's loud and bossy. He's just so... Carter. :)
