Moving on up!

Literally up.  Much further North than we planned.  All the way up to McKinney.  But the good news is, we're moving.  To an awesome house with excellent schools and fabulous resident amenities.

We put our house on the market June 12th and accepted an over asking price offer (we got multiple) Friday morning, the 13th.  My lucky day!  Thus far, everything is going smoothly.  With the exception of the roofers.  That has been a beating from day one.  From finding one, to getting stood up by them, then them leaving before the insurance adjuster shows up... ugh.  So, if anyone needs a roofer recommendation, I can tell you who NOT to use.  ::sigh::  But I digress.

So the estimate close date of the current house is July 17th and our close date on the new one is July 18th.  Pretty exciting!  We're getting almost another 1200 square feet of house that we desperately need with 3 boys and a giant dog.  I'll share some of my favorite pictures....

Obviously, it needs some painting.  But I'm super excited to get in and get settled.  :D

I've already started on the evilness of transferring utilities, school registrations, personal account mailing address stuff, etc.  ::sigh::
